Hey, I’m Angel. I’m an aspiring tattoo artist from Mineola, Texas, currently looking for an apprenticeship. I haven’t tattooed on skin yet, but I’ve been drawing and painting my whole life—art’s always been my thing. What started as a passion has turned into a mission to create something meaningful for others.
For a while, I thought art was too unstable to make a career out of, so I went the corporate route and climbed the tech ladder, even becoming VP of Technology Resources. But the higher I went, the more I realized how much I hated it. I left that behind, started my own cleaning business, and learned a ton about discipline and hustle. But even though I was doing well, it made me realize one thing: I don’t want to spend my life cleaning. I want to create.
I finally realized that a creative career can be just as steady and rewarding, so I jumped in headfirst. For the past year, I’ve been working nonstop to build my portfolio, learn the ropes of tattooing, and improve my skills. No turning back—this is my future.

I’m still developing my unique voice as an artist, but my work leans toward expressive linework, moody details, and bold, clean designs. I love taking inspiration from everyday life, nature, personal stories, and the weird little corners of imagination.

When I’m not drawing, there’s a good chance I’m playing pool. It’s one of my favorite ways to unwind and challenge myself. I’m a bit of a pool enthusiast and have competed in a bunch of leagues and tournaments. People sometimes underestimate me, which just makes it even more fun when I surprise them with a win. Pool is all about strategy, precision, and a little creativity, kind of like art, just with more chalk and fewer pencils.

I’m ready to take the next step in my journey and earn an apprenticeship with a shop that values dedication, curiosity, and craft. Until then, I’ll keep creating, keep learning, and keep showing up.
