About Rogue Angel Tattoos

Hi, I'm Angel. I’m an aspiring tattoo artist based in Mineola, Texas, currently seeking a tattoo apprenticeship. I haven’t tattooed on skin yet, but I’ve been creating art my entire life  drawing, painting, and finding every excuse to express myself visually. What started as a passion has turned into a full-on mission: to turn my creativity into something lasting and meaningful for others.  

For a while, I assumed art careers were too unstable to seriously pursue. I was worried about the ups and downs, especially the idea of constantly being broke. So I chased stability and climbed the corporate ladder, eventually becoming Vice President of Technology Resources in the tech industry. But the higher I climbed, the more I realized I hated the corporate environment and refused to keep playing that game. I left it behind and built my own cleaning business from the ground up. That experience taught me a lot—about discipline, ownership, and hustle—but it also made one thing clear: I didn’t want to spend my life cleaning. I wanted to create. What I didn’t realize back then was that with hard work and dedication, a creative path can actually be just as steady and rewarding as any other. 

So I made the leap. I committed to myself, my art, and my future. Over the last year, I’ve dedicated every day to improving my skills, building a portfolio, and learning the ins and outs of the tattoo industry. I'm all in — no plan B.

 I’m still developing my unique voice as an artist, but my work leans toward expressive linework, moody details, and bold, clean designs. I love taking inspiration from everyday life, nature, personal stories, and the weird little corners of imagination.

When I’m not drawing, there’s a good chance I’m playing pool. It’s one of my favorite ways to unwind and challenge myself. I’m a bit of a pool enthusiast and have competed in a bunch of leagues and tournaments. People sometimes underestimate me, which just makes it even more fun when I surprise them with a win. Pool is all about strategy, precision, and a little creativity, kind of like art, just with more chalk and fewer pencils.

 I’m ready to take the next step in my journey and earn an apprenticeship with a shop that values dedication, curiosity, and craft. Until then, I’ll keep creating, keep learning, and keep showing up.
